On Friday, two sons of former NFL stars had significant nights in a key faceoff in Oklahoma. Incredibly, one of them even did so with a broken arm … and he's a quarterback.

As noted by the Oklahoman out of Oklahoma City, Valor Christian, the Colorado powerhouse which surprisingly dropped its first two games of the season, scored 35 unanswered points en route to a 42-0 victory against Littleton (Colo.) Heritage High. Leading that charge was Valor Christian quarterback and Oklahoma State commit Luke Del Rio, the son of former Jaguars coach and USC legend Jack Del Rio.

The younger Del Rio finished with 173 yards and two touchdown passes in the victory and impressed with his toughness; Del Rio played with a broken arm, albeit his non-passing arm.

One of Del Rio's scoring passes landed in the hands of the son of a former Broncos star, Christian McCaffrey, the son of Ed McCaffrey.

The game was Del Rio's first since suffering the broken limb, raising the unique possibility that he could finish the 2012 season undefeated when playing with only one good arm and winless when competing with full health.

If nothing else, Oklahoma State fans can get a little excited knowing that their prospective future QB is even tougher than advertised.
