Not all buzzer-beaters are created equally. While full-court shots at the end of the first quarter are always entertaining, they can't claim to carry as much weight as some others, like this bomb at the end of regulation of a game in Wisconsin.

As reported by the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel and recorded by Fox Sports Wisconsin and the good folks at Snappy TV, Milwaukee (Wis.) Hamilton High sophomore Kevon Looney earned his team an unexpected overtime berth against Milwaukee (Wis.) Washington High when he nailed a three-quarter court shot at the buzzer.

Looney's bomb tied the game at 66 after he and his teammates had seemed doomed to a dispiritingly tight loss just moments earlier. Unsurprisingly, his teammates and sections of the crowd rushed the court in utter delirium, unable to restrain their shock that his shot sunk through the net.

In the end, the shot you see above couldn't earn Hamilton a victory, with Washington turning the jets back on in overtime to pull out an 80-73 win for the Purgolders. Still, it provided three of Looney's impressive 38 points in the game and left him with a memorable bucket to look back on in the games and even years ahead.

After all, it's not every day that a player drills a three-quarter court heave with no time on the clock to tie the game.
