High school fans rush court after win for mass Tebowing celebration

So, you thought just because Tim Tebow's Broncos were unceremoniously dumped from the AFC playoffs that dramatic acts of Tebowing would stop? Think again.

As tweeted to the great wide world by high school senior JJ Mandros and picked up upon by Busted Coverage, an Arizona high school basketball game combined the traditional celebratory antics of rushing the court with the (evidently still) new hotness that is Tebowing.

After a Tuesday night victory against crosstown rival Scottsdale (Ariz.) Chaparral High, Scottsdale (Ariz.) Desert Mountain High's student body rushed the court, then immediately broke into a mass-Tebowing, the likes of which grew in popularity after two twin brothers were suspended for leading mass Tebowing meetings in the Riverhead (N.Y.) High hallways between classes.

In Scottsdale, the mass Tebowing effort occurred as the two teams walked through the handshake line following Desert Mountain's 60-46 win, all with at least one campus police officer apparently struggling to decide what to do, as you can see in the photo above.

Whether court-rushing Tebowings will take off the way the traditional gesture made popular by the quarterback did remains to be seen. If they do, this time we'll all know that it started with a high school basketball rivalry in suburban Arizona, far from its original inspiration.
