Incredible full court swish from Indiana might be buzzer beater of the year

Looking for a great buzzer beater? Look no further, because this baseball style full-courter is one of the best Prep Rally has seen all year.

As sent Prep Rally’s way by friends of the blog at iHigh, Parker City (Ind.) Monroe Central High delivered one of the shots of the year (it has to be a top-10, right?) with a full-court baseball heave that went through as if it had been released from 20 feet away.

The miracle bucket was scored by Monroe Central’s Bracken Barga at the end of the third quarter during Monroe Central’s 82-57 victory against Muncie (Ind.) Burris High. The bucket was a stunner both because of the distance it came from and the player who released it; Barga scored just one other bucket in the entire game.

Of course, particularly aware Monroe Central fans might not have been as stunned as some others, because they’ve seen Barga show off his right-arm cannon before. The junior was the Monroe Central quarterback in the fall and will start at catcher for the Golden Bears’ baseball squad after basketball season ends.

For now he’s still celebrating what has to be one of the more outlandish shots anyone will see all season, at any level.
