Pennsylvania receiver Brian Lemelle is having one heck of a postseason. First, the Harrisburg (Pa.) Bishop McDevitt wideout set a new state record for total career yards. A week later, he set the Pennsylvania mark for most career receptions.

As noted by the Harrisburg Patriot-News, Lemelle set the new state career receptions mark during Bishop McDevitt's 27-7 victory against Lancaster (Pa.) Catholic High in the Class AAA district semifinals. In the semifinal win, McDevitt brought in nine receptions for 121 yards, pushing him past the previous career mark of 247 catches by Allentown (Pa.) Central Catholic's Kevin Gulyas. Heading into the district finals, Lemelle now has 251 career receptions.

Incredibly, Lemelle had set a new state record for for career yards during Bishop McDevitt's victory against Robesonia (Pa.) Conrad Weiser High.

The dual records have only further intensified interest in the three star receiver, who holds 13 scholarship offers from schools like Cincinnati, West Virginia, Iowa, Purdue, Penn State and Purdue, to name but a few.

Further receiving exploits will only increase the spotlight on Lemelle. So far, that pressure hasn't seemed to slow Lemelle whatsoever, and if the school chasing him feel right, they aren't likely to in the future, either.
